These piggy vessels are the outcome of a morphological workshop by Innovando la Tradición in Tlapazola (Valles Centrales de Oaxaca). They modified a traditional piece, creating various versions including these containers which serve as vases or vessels for whatever your heart desires. This type of clay is made entirely by hand and fired under the open sky with traditional methods. Artisan Alberta Mateo from San Marcos Tlapazola crafted it.
